If you aren’t getting rejected on a daily basis, your goals aren’t ambitious enough cdixon.org – chris dixon's blog

The reason this period was so useful was that it helped me develop a really thick skin.  I came to realize that employers weren’t really rejecting me as a person or on my potential – they were rejecting a resume.

I’ve gone through a lot of this same thing as my resume is also a bit “strange” for uncreative people to understand (undergrad studying Chemical Engineering, Medical Doctor, small bootstrapped startups and Marketing!).

Most people are just too scared to look beyond a resume to judge a person’s potential.
